If I’m such a douche-bag
you don’t need me in your life.
I’ve got greater aspirations
than to be the source of your strife.
The seeds that were planted,
destined to die from neglect.
Any possibility for a future,
The foundation too weak,
to endure the strain,
of words said in haste,
bristling with accusation and disdain.
So smile as I leave,
you’ve lost nothing at all.
What kind of friendship,
makes you want to curl up on the floor and bawl?
